Nestor’s Data Handler specializes in gathering and cleaning input data, storing production data securely and exchanging data with downstream systems as appropriate.

Features of the Data Handler include:
  • Automated import of input data – Nestor automates the importing of input data – such as subscribers, channel lineups – from external systems via simple, file-based integration.
  • Data Validation - Nestor alerts users to potential data issues up-front, using configurable Validators (link to separate page or combine on same page) in order to prevent erroneous data from ever entering the system
  • Remediation - In response to issues identified by the Validators, Nestor provides simple tools for making the appropriate repairs
  • Store - Once data is ‘production ready’, Nestor adds it to the central store, designed to accommodate over 7 years of historical data in a manner that is both secure and fully auditable.
  • Export - Nestor automates the export of data into downstream applications such as financial systems (G/L, A/P) and data warehouses.
