Founder and President
In 1995, Doug founded Argo Systems after consulting and developing custom software for a variety of cable companies. Through this experience, he identified the need for packaged, off the shelf affiliate billing and sales software for cable programmers. Doug’s leadership has established Argo Systems as the industry's sole packaged affiliate software solution provider and has revolutionized the way affiliate data is centralized within a cable network. Focusing on the customer, Doug transformed Medea, Argo’s flagship product, into a client-driven software application, where clients determine its eventual look, feel and functionality. Argo Systems continues to lead the industry, focusing on standardization across programmers and MSOs and facilitating communication. Doug developed Medea and founded Argo Systems after 4 years of consulting with Accenture (then Andersen Consulting) and BSG Consulting. He is a graduate of Duke University with a BA in Mathematics and Economics.
