Argo X-Change 2008 Wrap Up
The 2008 Argo X-Change held March 10-12 in Austin, TX was a rousing success! Held at the Lakeway Resort and Spa on beautiful Lake Travis, cable industry executives were able to hear from such industry experts as Bruce Leichtman, President and Principal Analyst, Leichtman Research Group; Ian Olgeirson, Senior Analyst, SNL Kagan; and Paul Maxwell, Owner and CEO Media Business Corp and Columnist/Founder CableFAX Daily.
Attendees enjoyed panel discussions covering a variety of topics including MSO Program Accounting, Technology: The New Business Drive and Affiliate Operations: Bridging the Gap between Sales and Finance.
Medea informational and training sessions for all levels of users were held throughout the X-Change covering such areas as Payment Reconciliation, New Medea Functionality, Report Customization and an Introduction to Medea.
The Argo X-Change conferences have become known for their locally themed dinners and entertainment. This year was no different with attendees enjoying some of the best BBQ the hill country has to offer at the Salt Lick while being entertained by the Onion Creek Crawdaddies and a few of our own clients showing off their singing talents with the band as backup! To top off the final evening (and early morning) many enjoyed the sites and sounds in downtown Austin at the SXSW (South by Southwest) Music Festival.
For those of you who were able to be there thank you all for attending. We hope to see you back next year at Argo X-Change 2009. For those of you that were not able to make it, we hope to have you with us next year.
The bar has been set pretty high, but we plan on making X-Change 2009 even better. Where will it be? What industry experts and themed events will we be having? Stay tuned as you won’t want to miss out!
